The second screen will be used to monitor students while in breakout rooms where they work as a team to collaborate on a project separate from the rest of the class. Having the extra monitor will allow for more opportunities and flexibility for the students to choose how they would like to learn.
The second monitor will also help me see all of my students while I teach out of my original monitor. Teaching usually involves screen sharing. Once I screen share, all the faces are hidden. It is also difficult to send chat messages in case I need to redirect or affirm a student.
