The students at my school are of a low socioeconomic status. With the economy being what it is nationally, and with the rigor of common core standards that ALL students are expected to meet, the students are in desperate need of some relief. We are attempting to educate a group of global learners in this Dual Immersion program where they have expectations of bi-literacy that is rigorous for all.
The students are enthusiastic to learn all of the topics that come their way, we simply need to meet, and exceed, their expectations for the education they wish to receive.
