My students attend a rural public school with a wide variety of students. The school contains roughly 600 students from grades k-5. I teach in one of our four third grades. There are twenty-six students in my classroom: 16 boys and 10 girls. Their are a huge range of abilities in the classroom. Some of the students are on a fifth grade reading level, and others are on an end of first grade reading level. They can be a challenging but very rewarding class.
