All too often our classrooms are decorated with those encouragement posters with the kitten saying, "Puurfect job!" or a road cone with a phrase, "Learning under construction". Instead of those over used boring posters, I would like to showcase college pennants to trigger the real goal for life after middle school. We are an AVID school and our main focus is to help prepare students for college when they normally wouldn't plan for it. We teach preparation strategies and career readiness. Some of those careers require college. Starting the path by having the PAC 12 displayed in the classroom can help promote that thinking of where those students would like to apply and attend. I visited Colorado University and I picked up my first PAC 12 pennant, but now my goal is to obtain the other 11. I would like to add to my lonely displayed pennant, and thus I am turning to Ðǿմ«Ã½ to help with my own goal.
