I have eight unique and beautiful kindergarten students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. They attend a public schools in New York and they come from a variety culturally diverse backgrounds. My students are diverse in many ways. I have some students who are verbal and others who are non-verbal; some students who can use the bathroom independently, and others who are beginning to be toilet trained. Students who can write and read, and students who are learning how to brush their teeth. Their differences are what motivate me to be a great teacher!
