They are 26 boys and girls in my classroom that love coming to school and learning. They get so excited when they are learning. The school is in a large urban district. The students do not get to experience many things in their everyday life. We were talking about push and pull and the example of a kite came up and most of the children have never flown a kite before. They need the hands on activities to help them understand and books to be able to understand real life experiences.
