We strive to give our students new and inventive ways to improve communication. On an iPad or a tablet, a student would be able to get a clear view of his/her current schedule. An an example, a student views a screen showing a photo of a person walking outside and a photo of paints and brushes. Suddenly, this student has been given the POWER to CHOOSE his/her next activity!! Picture students gravitating toward their iPads as a means of communicating needs, choices and wants during the day. Our students struggle with varied disabilities and any way we can find to lessen frustration is a great thing!!
