When my project is funded we can work together to discuss important topics. Then the students can take this resource home with them to continue the conversation with their families. Scholastic News has current topics in their issues that students can understand. Each issue provides the students with colorful pictures and words for them to read. There are large posters that also come with the issue to assist the teacher. Scholastic News also provides teachers with lesson plans as well as digital materials that include games and other fantastic resources. I have always felt that Scholastic News is great for kids!
