My students are students with special needs. The class is made up of many different abilities. My students are children with mental impairments, seizure disorders, learning disabilities, autism, and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. My students are both boys and girls. They are of different ethnic backgrounds. The students in my class range from 3rd grade to 5th grade. My students have difficulty with math and reading. They are very hard working students who want to be successful. They talk about going to college. My students attend a small school in a small neighborhood of working class people. It is a Title One School. Each one of my students is working toward the same goal, getting out of my class. That is a good thing.
