I have a classroom of 20 sweet, caring and very creative students. I teach in a mixed-age, play-based Kindergarten in a Waldorf-Inspired Charter School. The children in my class are ages 3,4, and 5. I am the lucky teacher who gets to be with some of these children for 3 years, so I will have 6 year olds next year too! Our classroom is warm, inviting, inspiring and filled with all open-ended items made of completely natural materials. Everyday, we cook with organic grains, we make bread together and we share rich fairy tales. Our free play time is a cherished time, a time where children can really play!
