By the time students who struggle with reading get to middle school, they're often burned out with interventions and embarrassed to be receiving extra support in a small group setting. In order to help them restore the FUN of reading, I would like to provide them with extra comforts as prizes. Who doesn't like to cozy up in a blanket with a good book with a steaming cup of cocoa to boot? As an incentive for meeting their reading goals, I'd like to have prizes, from stickers and bookmarks to cozy blankets and fun mugs, to offer my students and I'd really appreciate not completely funding the endeavor alone!
