Working in an inner-city, low-income district in California has presented me with a plethora of challenges. Fortunately, my inquisitive and bright fourth graders have kept me working relentlessly to ensure that their futures are promising and that they have the preparation needed to do all that they aspire to. I have 24 students in my class with academic levels ranging from 1st to 5th grade. About 90% of my students are English Language Learners.

About my class

Working in an inner-city, low-income district in California has presented me with a plethora of challenges. Fortunately, my inquisitive and bright fourth graders have kept me working relentlessly to ensure that their futures are promising and that they have the preparation needed to do all that they aspire to.
