My 6th graders are made up of all sorts of learners, in other words, they are students. I have 29 of them and our classroom is built around responsibility, accountability, and a democratic environment in which we all have input to make "it work" best for all of us. Unfortunately, our school does not have all the necessities that can produce a positive learning environment. So, it is teacher and parent responsibility to work together and create said environment. I love my class, my school and the community I am in. Therefore, I am vested in the success in all aspects of this wonderful environment.
