My students are a beautiful rainbow, African American, Asian, Latino, Middle Eastern and North African! They attend a middle school in California, with dedicated administrators, teachers and staff. The students are like most middle schoolers: crazy and fun loving, showing those early stages of puberty and a growing intellect. They love to learn, argue, write, draw, move, whisper, laugh and cry. But many can not afford to buy books. 90% of my students live below the poverty line.

About my class
