My students are very inquisitive learners. They love to sing, do movements and play instruments. My students do music on a quarterly basis and so they learn from rigorous standards throughout the music curriculum. They love to challenge themselves especially in performing musical notes in the form of patterns. They are determined to learn about all the components of music. Sometimes they get really sad when it is time to leave music. They will come to me and thank me for the music they have learned.
My students are very active so I find different activities for them to do throughout the different music blocks. Sometimes students use the room on a rotational basis where they play musical card games, sitting at the library corner or listening to different genres of music from the sound space.
My students are always looking forward to the new adventures in learning music education. I have a tempo activity where I incorporated the shark game they just love it!
