Our school is a high risk elementary school that currently has a fourth grade teacher looking for resources to assist his students in closing an extremely large achievement gap in reading, math and science. Currently our students are scoring in the low 40s for proficiency in math and science and are in dire need for resources that will build background knowledge. This will help all the students to build connections through real world events. Our school is currently in the high 90 percents for students receiving free and reduced lunches. This previous year we scored in the fourth percentile in the state for overall test scores.
