I am requesting to attend the Get Your Teach On Conference to help build my repertoire of teaching strategies and to learn new and inventive ways to teach content to my students. During the GYTO conference, educators learn not just best practices but how to make learning engaging and fun. In turn, this will not only help to increase rigor but also help increase students' desire to learn.
The Get Your Teach On Conference will help me shape my students' learning in a way that makes them feel like they are part of something magical and will positively impact their learning for the future. Going to the GYTO conference has been a dream of mine for the past 2 years and I am incredibly excited about being a part of a learning experience that will push me out of my "teaching comfort zone" and will inspire and motivate me to continue to try new things in my classroom and school-wide, all for the benefit of my students and school district.
