My school is a wonderful Title I elementary school where teachers, parents and students come together to help our kiddos reach their fullest potential. We are located in a very low income/high poverty part of town and sadly, most of our students enter Kindergarten already at-risk in all economic, social and academic categories. These are kids with loving hearts and open minds. They work hard and demonstrate the character values of responsibility, respect, honesty and compassion on a daily basis. Students at our school become more than friends on the playground, they become family to each other throughout their educational years. Our elementary school is a place where everyone feels welcomed, included and valued for who they are.
