My class consists of bilingual kindergarten students in a low socioeconomic school. All of them receive free or reduced lunch and most do not have computers or other technology at home. As English Language Learners they face many obstacles everyday. However, their eagerness to learn and love for reading have gotten them where they are today. Completing a book can bring mixed emotions. First, the feeling of accomplishment that they feel after completing a book with or without help. Secondly, a sense of sadness because the story and adventure has come to an end.
