My students are awesome! We have been working very hard to get everyone on grade level before the school year is over. It is a Title I school and a lot of my students' parents work hard at their jobs and don't have a lot of time to help them at home with math and reading. Everything they are learning about math and reading comes from school. Keeping them engaged for seven hours a day can be challenging, so using different types of learning - paper/white boards/hands-on activities keeps them motivated.
