Our Title I school serves over 600 students from diverse backgrounds and economic hardships. My Pre-K students are experiencing school for the first time with very little understanding of the English language. Once routines and procedures are established, the learning and fun begins! Language and cultural differences fade to the background as we build our school family relationship. We learn through pictures, music, literature, puppets, games and outdoor play. Learning centers are planned using hands-on, multisensory materials focused on purposeful activities.
