My 20+ special needs English Language Learner students are from a rural region in So. California. Our school and community is located in a low socioeconomic area. The families in the area are low income/poverty level. Our school offers a haven to these students and families. We do what we can; offer meals, afterschool opportunities, and a safe and caring place for the students to feel needed. It is my goal as well as our schools goal to offer every opportunity to my students to be informed and to explore the latest technological advances and to show them there is a vast world out there to explore.
Being organized is also a problem which special needs students face daily. Having a binder organizer will increase their potential to become better workers and eliminate distractions.
