These supplies will aid the students in taking charge of their learning. They get to see their progress throughout the school year. They can use their notebooks as reference tools, and self-esteem builders! Parents get an opportunity to view what is going on in the classroom on a daily basis. I, the teacher, can monitor their learning, and adjust my teaching according to their needs. Students will also be able to have fun while learning. Many student keep their notebooks to prepare them for the next school year. This is very helpful to students in my classroom because many of their parents do not enroll them in learning summer programs.
