The iPad will be used during our garden club meetings. Women and girls are underrepresented in science and technology. I want to change that and inspire the girls in my club to be excited about science and STEM. I want to encourage them to seek fields that allow design with the outdoors in mind. This iPad will enhance the design process for my girls. The student will use the iPad to research, design, and track the growth of the garden. The possibilities are endless! Using the IF/Then curriculum I will show these students about women that have impacted the STEM world. The girls can be inspired by other women scientists to make changes and contribute to their community.

About my class
