My students have autism, which affect their communication, fine and gross motor skills, behavior, academics, cognition and social skills. All of my students have a limited repertoire of words and are mostly non-verbal. They are kindergarteners and attend a typical elementary school; they are included with their same-age peers for lunch and recess.
Despite all that life has handed to them, they still know how to have a good time and impress me with all the amazing progress they have achieved this year! They are all super cute and hard-working; they give me a reason to smile every day!
