I truly believe that with a strong mind and determination my students will be able to overcome any obstacle in and out of my classroom. On one corner of my classroom exists a vast area where I plan to coach my students on how to stay fit and begin an ongoing exercise daily routine.
With the exercise supplies in this project, my students will learn the proper way to use a rowing machine that focuses on building muscle on their upper body as well as their lower body muscles. The Marcy Tower machine will work-out on the core body area to improve my students' balance and abdominals. The dumbbell set will help improve my students' upper body strength. The set of gloves will protect their adolescent hands from the grind of the dumbbell set. I hope to start an after school club that proves an environment where my students feel motivated to learn and lead an exercise-active way of life. I also hope to incorporate the nutrition aspect of working out.
In addition, I have invested in floor mats to include a Pilates day during the week. Using the stability ball in this project my students will learn to maintain their balance while working on their core muscles.
