My students are a wonderful group of first grade students whom work hard and deserve everything the world has to offer. They are part of a bilingual program and come from a variety of backgrounds. Many students come from low income households and are limited to materials and supplies we have here at school. They enjoy reading, writing and math and will often ask if they can take books or other supplies home so they can practice their skills at home. Several of my students are Spanish dominant and are receiving literacy instruction in Spanish.
