I teach kindergarten in a biliteracy classroom. My students are learning to read and write in both English and Spanish! About half of the class speaks Spanish at home, and about half speaks English, so everyone gets to use their strengths and learn something new each and every day. We are still in the early stages of developing this program at my school. Please help to support our effort so that our students can be literate in two languages and ready for the 21st century!
