Our students come from a small town in Colorado with a high percent of them coming from military homes. About 40% of our students have one or more parent in the military. They are strong, brilliant kids who need to know that some things in their life are consistent. They also need to know that people out there believe in them. Bullying, drug use, and weapon charges have all increased in schools with high military populations as the effects of this war continue to ravish their lives.
