Every student in our school participates in a WIN (What I Need)
time. The materials in this project, allow the students to use manipulatives to help them learn and participate in the phonemic awareness and phonics lessons that they are being taught during WIN time.
When the students and teachers have the materials they need, everyone WINS! The students will use the white boards to write on. The blue and red chips will be used for the students to use as manipulatives representing consonants and vowels to make words. The laminating pouches will be used to make the games for the students to use to increase their interest. The cookie sheets will be used as portable magnetic boards for the teachers and students to use. The supplies will help increase student engagement and success.
