My first-grade students are mostly from low-income backgrounds in urban Charlotte. Our school provides free and reduced-price breakfast and lunch to most students because of their family's economic situations. They are full of life and energy, but haven't been given access to the same materials and opportunities that so many of the students in nearby areas have been given. My students love to learn and love getting to use technology when they are given the opportunity. One of our favorite things to do is dance to GoNoodle videos!

About my class
