I work generally work with 15-20 kids each day from grades K-3. We are a very diverse group of learners and it takes a lot of careful planning to meet the special needs of everyone in our room. We are part of a fairly small school so it feels like we are all a family. We work really hard to create a classroom community that is positive for everyone. My classroom is a safe place for students to take educational risks and push themselves to be exceptional. In our room we have students learning letters and how to socially interact with others and students reading chapter books. But at the end of the day our differences don't matter. We look out for one another and learn how to care.
