I live in a rural community in south central Minnesota. Our school is a consolidated district with 4 towns. Forty five percent of the students in our building qualify for Free/Reduced Lunches. I want to provide students in my classroom with the opportunity to lose themselves in literature that they may not otherwise be exposed to outside of the school. If I am granted this opportunity, my students will have access to several exciting genres of books.
