I teach in small community school. Most of the students parents also went to this school. I teach a 1st/2nd grade split class. I have 8 first graders and 10 second graders. This community is very high-need. For a lot of the students they are taught that sports is more important than their education. We have about 60% of our student body on free/reduce lunch.
