I have not met my students as this will be my first year at the school. I know 97% of my students are Hispanic and are in need of a lot of supplies. The school is set on a beautiful spot that allows students to look out over the Salinas Valley. They are provided with a lot of encouragement and support from the teachers and school administrators. Everyone is friendly and willing to do whatever they need to in order to help these students in a positive way. My students are Third Graders and most have already attended this school before. I will be the new one.
