I teach a Special Education class in a high-need, urban community. My students have multiple disabilities, which include seizures, Cerebral Palsy, and Down’s Syndrome. They are in Grades 5-7 but are functioning on a Pre-K to 2-grade level. The goal of my classroom is to make my students as independent as possible.
