The students in my classroom have a variety of disabilities that contribute to their learning difficulties. My students are identified with mild-moderate Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language Impairments, Auditory Processing Disorders, and Specific Learning Disabilities. Due to this wide range of challenges, my students need something more than a 'typical' child to calm and center themselves, ultimately focusing their attention on their learning. My students need flexible seating that engages their bodies in active movement in all directions because it is critical to their development as active learners.
