Manipulative's are a very important tool to develop their creativity at their own pace. I do a lot of centers in my classroom where students get the opportunity to work on concepts with their peers. Student at this age need to do a lot of hands on work to help them master the concepts they are learning. They just need somebody to support them through their journey of learning. Manipulative's are a very important tool to help them develop their understanding of math concepts at their own pace. They need the opportunity to explore and become more knowledgeable at their age, and to be able to have an opportunity to learn more. By having these manipulative's they are exploring their world.
