The students that are in my classes come from a rainbow of cultures, religious as well as socioeconomic backgrounds. My students come from a range of learning abilites as well and I try my best to reach as many of those learning styles as I can throughout the school year. Often times, I have students that do not communicate well because of emotional problems or they are learning English as a new language. For these students, I do my best to demonstrate by acting out the situations or showing pictures to further their understanding, as best as I can to help them. There is a constant progression of lessons and ideas that keep our school year full of learning. I try my best to stay focused and keep my students on task so that they may make as many gains in the present school year as possible. It is my personal goal to stay enthusiastic about learning throughout life and I'd like to model that enthusiasm to my students!
