"You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own.
And you know what you know.
And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go.... "

Give Children the Gift of Reading So They Can Succeed!!
I have a class of 23 third graders. Many of our students come from single parent homes. Some of the kids are adopted, and some are being raised by grandparents. 85-90% of our students eat free breakfast at school. Many of those same students get free and reduced lunch. Our kids attend a school that does not get Title 1 funds, therefore they are not given the opportunity to experience the "extras" that most of the other schools/kids in the county receive.
