Thank you for visiting my project. I am still teaching from home and it seems like this will be the case for the rest of the school year where I teach. We're still distance learning mode and I need more resources to use from home to make distance learning more effective for my students. The iPad and AirPods will enhance the effectiveness of my instruction from home and will be used to benefit my students' learning. I need these tools to improve my technology-driven situation to fully impact my student's learning and growth in literacy. An iPad is the right size to use all my teaching apps including Google Classroom, Google Jamboard, Google Docs, Class Dojo, Literably, Seesaw, Clever, etc. My students and I use Google Classroom, Docs, and Jamboard on a daily basis to read books, complete interactive writing lessons, or write and discuss vocabulary. All of this makes their learning more interactive and engaging. I can also use the iPad when my other (older) devices occasionally crash as well as for downloading more distance learning apps that require devices to be compatible with newest softwares 12.0 or higher. My older devices are not compatible with recent softwares that these apps require in order to be downloaded. I also need AirPods that are compatible with the iPad. It's difficult not to use earphones when my entire apartment floor can hear me and my students, and not all earphones are compatible with every device, especially an iPad. AirPods will help me better focus on teaching my students, versus worrying about if I'm disturbing my neighbors. I hope now you are better able to visualize how these products can positively affect my reading intervention classroom's teaching/learning environment via distance learning.
