My students are eager, excited, and love books. Unfortunately, they do not have many opportunities to read at home. I teach in a city where it seems children grow up too fast. Every year, I meet 25-30 second graders who are innocent and curious about the world around them. My students are eager and excited to read new books in my class, since for most of the students it is the only opportunity they have to read.
