I teach 26 energetic kindergarteners, 13 girls and 13 boys. They are a diverse group socioeconomically and culturally. For many, this is their first experience with organized education. Some already know how to read, others are learning their alphabet. They are all at very different stages of readiness for learning. The one thing that they all have in common is that they are curious about their world and love learning new things.
