I teach some amazing middle school band students who keep me on my toes and also keep me laughing. They have parents who like to be involved and they are like little sponges when they come into my room. I try to expose them to all types of great music and give them the opportunity to share with me the music they listen to. I try to incorporate music they like and music they should know each year so they will have a well-rounded music education.
