Having a classroom set of Chromebooks would allow for technology to be apart of our everyday classroom learning. Student engagement and accountability would increase and make learning math fun again. It would mean that students could work and meet their individual learning goals at their academic level. Students would be able to practice important math skills through interactive lessons, sharing work with each other as well as accessing important life skills.
Meeting students individual learning goals is at the heart of teaching students with disabilities. We are always looking for ways to increase student learning. Access to Chromebooks would do just that! Having this technology would allow my students to have the ability to make choices with their learning. Whether it be more visual learning, or accessing math activities at their speed of learning, the possibilities are endless.
