Our school in urban Colorado is in a high poverty area. I always look for ways to motivate and make learning active and fun for my students. As well, kids need to be active physically. Many of them have difficulties focusing in on the lessons, so I want to provide alternative seating using Stay-n-Play balls to allow them to expend more energy at the same time they are focusing on the lesson. An organizer cart will provide a place to store learning materials in my small Reading classroom. My goal is to help my students become more independent learners and make sufficient progress to be on grade level by the end of the year. Your donation gives us the tools to make this a reality!
