This year I have a great group of Second graders who are already on their way to becoming life long readers. They have a love for great books and are constantly scooping up the latest and greatest book to our classroom library. Many of my students come from low income families, many of whom cannot afford great books. School is a place of great learning and my kids appreciate great literature.
