Our students are diverse and of low socio-economic status. With a 90% free and reduced lunch rate, we attempt to meet students where they are at and to engage and empower them through high-interest curriculum. Our school has 1300 students in our population and catering to each need is a challenge that we attempt to meet with opportunities and high interest curriculum wherever possible. Unfortunately, high interest often means updating texts, and budgets to do so have been cut.
