My students are wonderful and anxious to learn. They come from a variety of backgrounds with a varying degrees of learning abilities. With the limited amount of technology that we have, I feel it hurts the students in the lower levels. I have an organized progressive classroom working with individual students and also in teams. We have a reward system in place that rewards learning and good behavior. The students are excited and thrive in this environment. I feel strongly that the addition of the 4 Ipods would accelerate learning and the students would be motivated and excited to use them. These Ipods would greatly facilitate students to learn the science process and to do Science projects. They would enable inquires, research, increase creative thinking and language arts skills. Ipods would also help initiate a brand new Math curriculum. They would be a great addition to our classroom.
