My students are children of many nationalities. Some of them come to me with no English. They are immersed into their classes. Everything they are given is in English. I can't imagine the anxiety they feel when they enter school here. The languages that I work with include Spanish, Chinese, Romanian, Russia, Creole, French,and Swahili. I have over 70 ESOL students in grades kindergarten through fifth. I have been teaching for 19 years in the state of Georgia and I love working with children. I have developed a greater love for my ESOL students.
